Aquent’s leading healthcare client is seeking a junior Account Manager to help with Ad-Hock responsibilites for a 10-12 month assignment. This talent should have 2-3 years of experience and healthcare, insurance and B2B experience is a must. If you are interested in this role please apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and brokers, ensuring exceptional service for in-force SH coverage.
- Manage a portfolio of 273 regional and national accounts, ranging from under 100 to 108,000 eligible employees.
- Provide end-to-end account management, including presale support, implementation, and enrollment strategy.
- Develop and distribute client-facing educational materials and provide support for benefits administration systems.
- Conduct stewardship meetings and perform claims audits to ensure accurate processing and resolution of escalations.
- Handle policy amendments, producer commissions, BOR (Broker of Record) changes, and contract reviews.
- Conduct audits of contracts, billing, and premium remittances, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, resolve issues, and support lifecycle changes such as billing audits and new case setup.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients and brokers to enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and projects with strict timelines and dynamic priorities.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex processes and ambiguity.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with data systems and operational processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PPT, OneNote) and Adobe tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and brokers.
- Knowledge of group employee benefits, including SH products such as accidental injury, critical illness, and hospital care insurance, is strongly preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in Employee Health Benefits or a background in life/health insurance and/or medical industries is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with contracts and experience working remotely are strong assets.
Education & Experience:
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
- Required: High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of insurance experience or an Associate's Degree.
Non-Negotiable Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills.
- Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective task management and organizational skills.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $20 to $22/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
