Babson College
Adjunct Lecturer, Organizational Behavior, Management Division
Babson Park, MA
Apr 19, 2025
Full Job Description
The Management Division is currently accepting applications on a rolling basis for adjunct faculty to teach organizational behavior in our undergraduate and graduate programs.

The most pressing needs are for faculty who will teach core courses in the graduate program or organizational behavior in the undergraduate Foundations of Management Entrepreneurship Course (FME). This year-long immersive learning experience in which students run their own ventures is the foundational course for all first-year students. Each section of the course is co-taught by an entrepreneurship and organizational behavior faculty member and there is a large teaching team that collaborates to deliver this curriculum. We also seek faculty who can teach electives in areas such as negotiation, talent management, leader development, teams, and organizational change.

Babson College delivers courses in many different teaching formats, including traditional semester schedules, half semester schedules, day and evening classes, in-person, and on-line instruction. We offer programs in fall, spring, and summer. Adjunct faculty have the opportunity to take advantage of teaching development through our Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning (CELT) and obtain coaching from colleagues.

Candidate Success Factors:
We seek faculty who are aligned with our values of teaching excellence, collaboration, and inclusion, and those who embrace our mission to educate entrepreneurial leaders who create great economic and social value everywhere. The ideal candidate:

  • Is passionate about teaching organizational behavior among a diverse student community.
  • Is a team player, excited to coordinate teaching with other faculty in the division.
  • Has earned a relevant graduate degree and has previous college and university teaching experience and/or practical management experience relevant to the courses to be taught.

Application Submission:
Electronic applications should be submitted here; no paper applications will be accepted. Please include: (1) a cover letter; (2) a current curriculum vitae; (3) a brief (1-2 page) statement of teaching philosophy. Candidates who advance in the process may be asked to provide reference letters.
