Administrative Intake Coordinator - Outpatient
In this important role, the Administrative Intake Coordinator performs tasks of ensuring full registration and screening for all ages and all consumers accessing treatment regardless of insurance, works with staff in greeting consumers and ensuring support for the programs located in the building and works closely with the Clinical Triage/Intake Coordinator.
The Administrative Intake Coordinator responsibilities include:
- Screens all new consumers for admission to the clinic by telephone or in-person for walk-in consumers; obtains basic demographics, a brief clinical description and insurance information.
- Meets with new consumers before clinical intake to complete all registration documentation, PCP release, confidential disclosure, disclose the financial fee (i.e. co-pays, deductible, self-pay fees), and verify the insurance card.
- Coordinates the intake process after clinical intake to ensure that paperwork is completed before disposition team meeting. Completes all required administrative documentation in a timely fashion and maintains consumer record files in accordance with quality assurance standards.
- Collaborates with Clinical Triage/Intake Coordinator around scheduling appointments for initial intakes and with other clinicians as needed.
- Assigns appropriate consumers to intake clinicians, refers more urgent consumers to Emergency Services, or refers consumers to alternative services as indicated.
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
Rate: $22.00/hour

Required Skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Advanced computer fluency (including Microsoft Office) and passion for technology preferred
Required Experience
- High School Diploma with business skill major or one year of documented work experience
- At least two years experiences in a health setting or related field
