Communities, schools, and workplaces also turn to Riverside when faced with the emotional aftermath of tragic events or on suicide prevention.     We are seeking an Assistant Vice President for our Behavioral Health Services division with a focus on Crisis and Stabilization Services!

In this vital role, the Assistant Vice President of Behavioral Health Services will:

  • Oversees, plans, administers, and supervises Division operations with a focus on Crisis and Stabilization Services and other designated programs.
  • Ensure the delivery of high quality, recovery-oriented, fiscally viable care, appropriate staff support and compliance with organizational, payer and regulatory requirements of Division programs
  • Has primary oversight responsibility for designated Division programs, services and projects jointly identified with the Vice President of Behavioral Health Services and is responsible for direct management of these programs as necessary due to program manager vacancy.  
  • Provides back-up oversight of the entire Division in the absence of the Vice President of Behavioral Health Services, and as needed.  

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

  • Hybrid with 2 days a week in office

Pay Rate: $121,275.12/salaried

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Intermediate computer fluency, including Microsoft Office and video conferencing platforms
  • Flexibility, able to pivot when needed, comfortable with change and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Believes in creating an environment of continuous learning, mentoring/coaching staff to reach their fullest potential)
  • Familiarity and/or experience working in an integrated care environment with mental health, substance use, and physical healthcare services strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of 3rd party billing preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle

Required Experience

  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in a clinical behavioral health discipline
  • Massachusetts licensure at an independent level of practice
  • At least 7 years' experience in healthcare/human services, including at least 5 years supervisory and management experience, required.
  • Experience with program and service development required. Familiarity with project planning and proposal writing preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of budget development, fiscal and operational oversight, operating in a 3rd party billing and managed care contracted environment required. Familiarity with Medicaid/ACO’s and CBHC programs strongly preferred
