We are seeking a dynamic and driven Bioprocessing Sales Specialist to join our team, focusing on Process Analytics Products for downstream Process Analytical Technology (PAT) using variable pathlength technology and other spectroscopy techniques. Responsibilities

- Sales and Business Development: Drive sales and business development activities for Process Analytics Products within the Northeast Territory. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including biopharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and contract manufacturing organizations.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and trends within the bioprocessing industry. Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, customer service, field application specialists, and technical support, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on the latest advancements in analytical technologies and bioprocessing.
- Reporting: Produce regular sales reports and forecasts, offering insights to management on sales performance and market dynamics.
- Sales Rigor and Effectiveness: Maintain sales rigor and effectiveness by managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database i.e Sales Force and reporting systems efficiently i.e Tableau, PowerBI. Ensure accurate and timely data entry and analysis to support business decisions and sales growth.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Bioprocessing, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the bioprocessing or biotechnology industry, with a focus on Process Analytics Products and PAT.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the bioprocessing and biotechnology industries, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Customer Focus: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to build long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex technical and business-related problems.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the Northeast Territory to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Adaptability in Dynamic Environments: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong capacity for adaptability and flexibility.

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $164,800-$190,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
