The BIS (Business Information Systems) AI Strategic Planning & Delivery Head will be accountable for driving the development of an integrated strategic and operational roadmap for AI initiatives at argenx as well delivery of it. This role will coordinate delivery across all dimensions of AI, including strategic roadmap development, technical capability building, governance, use case intake, overall portfolio management, adoption, and training. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in (Gen) AI, data management, and business operations, with a proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence.
This role will report into BIS Global AI Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Closely work with BIS Global AI Lead to define and develop the (Gen) AI strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives, and ensuring responsible use of it. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure the AI strategy supports and accelerates defined business goals & outcomes.
- Integrated Strategic & Operational Roadmaps: In collaboration with stakeholders (Technology & Business), drive the development of an integrated strategic and operational roadmap for AI initiatives across argenx. Drive the process to identify & prioritize AI use cases in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Delivery Leadership: Drive delivery across all dimensions of AI, including strategic roadmap development, technical capability building, governance, use case intake, overall portfolio management, adoption, and training. Oversee & Coordinate the implementation & operation of (Gen) AI technologies and related aspects ensuring they are effectively integrated into business processes. Manage the day-to-day operations of the (Gen)AI core team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
- Network of empowered teams: Collaborate with AI Tech Capability & COE Lead, AI Governance Lead, AI Tech Operations Lead, external partners and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and efficient delivery of AI projects. Closely working with BIS Global AI Lead, build network of empowered cross-functional teams of GenAI specialists, data scientists, engineers etc. and business stakeholders ensuring readiness for disciplined scaling.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with technology and business stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment and utilization of (Gen) AI solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for all GenAI-related initiatives.
- Adoption / Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key Adoption indicators to measure the success and impact of (Gen) AI initiatives. Drive creation and implementation of user adoption programs
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of (Gen) AI projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Communication : Prepare and Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders to create clear visibility and transparency across all (Gen)AI initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing innovative technologies such as (Gen)AI, Advanced Analytics, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of GenAI & related technologies and their applications. Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools.
