Key Responsibilities

Financial & Operational Reporting

  • Translate financial and operational data into meaningful, accessible reports for decision-makers at all levels.
  • Serve as the organization’s in-house expert on extracting, cleaning, and visualizing data from systems like Microsoft Dynamics and Planning Maestro.
  • Prepare materials and respond to requests that support the Board's Finance Committee, helping to guide strategic oversight.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data quality and reporting processes.

Project Leadership

  • Lead projects from ideation through execution, with clear communication on timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
  • Develop project plans, engage stakeholders, and manage vendor relationships when necessary.
  • Monitor progress, assess impact, and adapt project approaches based on stakeholder feedback.

Stakeholder Engagement & Capacity Building

  • Build relationships across club sites and departments to surface needs and co-create solutions.
  • Develop and deliver trainings, guides, and reference materials to support the adoption of new systems or processes.
  • Actively contribute to the Finance team’s efforts to reduce single points of failure and expand team capabilities.
  • Champion user-friendly financial tools and language that empower staff at all levels to understand and manage their budgets confidently.

Strategic Process & Systems Improvement

  • Lead cross-departmental efforts to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce manual processes.
  • Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and recommend system enhancements or redesigns.
  • Spearhead the implementation of new tools or reporting solutions, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Document, evaluate, and refine existing practices to promote institutional knowledge and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of progressive experience in business analysis, systems implementation, or operations improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience designing or launching new systems, tools, or workflows.
  • Expertise in Excel.
  • Experience working with enterprise financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and Planning Maestro.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • A collaborative, respectful approach to simplifying complex information for broader understanding and use.

Why Join BGCB?

  • Make a tangible impact by building systems that support life-changing programs for youth.
  • Join a collaborative, equity-focused culture that values innovation and growth.
  • Enjoy hybrid flexibility, generous time off, and opportunities for professional development.
