Berklee is seeking a passionate and student-centered Career Advisor to join our dynamic Career Center team. This is a full-time, mission-driven role for someone who believes in the power of creativity and wants to help the next generation of artists, innovators, and changemakers thrive.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide career advising and coaching to Berklee and Boston Conservatory students—individually and in groups—on everything from job searches and networking to resume building and interview prep
- Serve as the lead for one or more Career Communities (business, performance, production, etc.), guiding students toward aligned career paths
- Collaborate with faculty and industry professionals to deliver relevant, real-world career insights and programming
- Support signature Berklee events like Career Jam, Job Expo, and industry workshops
- Act as an Internship Advisor, guiding students through the academic internship process
- Offer career guidance to alumni, ensuring continued access to Berklee’s career resources
- Design and deliver creative, student-focused events, boot camps, and resources that reflect industry trends
- Help students build a professional presence through platforms like LinkedIn and Berklee Career Manager
Who You Are:
- A thoughtful and enthusiastic advisor with 1–3 years of experience in career services, student support, recruiting, or a relevant industry like music, tech, education, or performing arts
- Passionate about the creative process and eager to support students from all backgrounds
- Skilled at building relationships—with students, faculty, employers, and alumni
- Knowledgeable about the job market, internships, and career development best practices
- Tech-savvy, resourceful, and comfortable using career platforms, social media, and event tools
- Culturally competent, inclusive, and aligned with Berklee’s values of equity, belonging, and community
- Creative, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative environment
