Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Applicant's responsibilities will be to perform all clerical functions associated with the CMS department including storm related activities.
  • Daily assignments are carried and according to needs and may include but not be limited to the handling of service requests, customer communication, time entry, field collections and other related duties.

Qualifications

  • Pass a typing test and a clerical aptitude test.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be able to operate a radio, meter reading systems, office and other equipment related to job completion.
  • Have the ability to acquire inter-personal skills for customer contact by phone.
  • Have the ability to acquire sufficient knowledge of Company policies and practices to prepare and maintain various forms, records and reports.
  • Handle inquiries from contractors, wiring inspectors, customers and employees.
  • Ability to become proficient in all NGRID software applications
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations and work extended hours as needed.
  • Must possess and maintain valid driver's license with no restrictions on hours of operations.

Hourly Pay Rate - $27.10

Location - Malden

Many of the terms and conditions of employment for this position are defined by a collective bargaining agreement that the Company has with a local union. Newly hired employees are bound by the terms of the collective bargaining agreement as well as other agreements between the Company and the local union.
