Job Purpose

Manage the daily scheduling of short cycle work to ensure compliance with service performance requirements. Support OH/UG supervisors with management and scheduling of jobs in On My Way and other digital scheduling tools

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the scheduling and coordination of short and long-term Opex and Capital construction projects, as well as emergent work.
  • Leverage On My Way and other digital scheduling tools to prioritize and bundle work into an optimized schedule.
  • Anticipate and actively manage the impact of scheduling decisions for all stakeholders involved.
  • Evaluate same day and emergency orders as they arrive and assign orders to field resources to ensure timely response.
  • Build a daily schedule that efficiently utilizes resources to complete the required work on-time and by priority.
  • Manage/Monitor the assignment of field employees; shift status and location changes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders in order to share best practice drive consistency in resource planning and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required

  • Experience of managing project teams and projects independently.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree and 2-3 years of equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional organization skills.
  • Valid driver's license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid'sSafe Driver policy.

More Information

Salary: $77,000 - $90,000

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Internal candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
