Copywriter (Hybrid - 37.5 hrs/week for 6 months+)

Job Description:
Our client, a leading insurance company, is seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Copywriter to join their growing marketing department. This is a long-term, full-time freelance opportunity (37.5 hours per week) with a hybrid work model-three days on-site and two days remote.
You'll work closely with the in-house brand team and report directly to the Writing Team Lead. Your role will be pivotal in crafting compelling, accurate, and brand-aligned content across a variety of platforms and formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Content Creation: Partner with multiple business units to understand their goals and craft clear, concise, and impactful messaging that supports company initiatives and resonates with target audiences.
- Brand Voice & Accuracy: Ensure all content is technically accurate and consistently reflects the company's established brand voice and values across all communication channels.
- Multi-Channel Marketing Development: Create a wide range of marketing materials, including:
- Direct mail campaigns
- Speech scripts for internal and external presentations
- Presentation content and storytelling
- Video scripts
- Corporate event communications
- Project Management & Collaboration: Work closely with Project and Traffic Coordinators to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in copywriting with a strong portfolio showcasing content across various formats and platforms.
- Experience with direct mail and an understanding of direct response principles is highly desirable.
- Background in the financial or insurance industry is a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of branding and the ability to maintain a consistent voice across all communications.
- Experience writing for presentations and understanding how to structure content for maximum impact.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
