Job Description:
Our client, a top 10 internationally ranked footwear company, is searching for a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter (junior to mid level OK!) to join a dynamic in-house creative team for a 6-12 month freelance opportunity. This is a full-time feeling freelance role with a hybrid schedule-three days per week onsite in Boston, MA.
You'll play a key role in shaping the voice of a globally recognized lifestyle and performance brand. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft compelling, on-brand copy across a variety of digital and omnichannel touchpoints which could include writing for web, social, digital display ads, print ads, OOH, video, and more.
Someone with a background writing for agencies or retail / fashion / eComm will do very well in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Write engaging, consumer-facing copy for direct-to-consumer (DTC) campaigns and omnichannel marketing deliverables
- Develop product copy for digital platforms and paid media campaigns
- Create SEO-optimized content to enhance discoverability and performance
- Execute copy across global and regional briefs, including marketing assets, paid social, and product descriptions
- Partner with the Legal team to ensure all content complies with internal legal and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in retail, footwear, or e-commerce
- Strong understanding of brand voice and storytelling across digital platforms
- Ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and performance-driven content
