Position Overview:
At Manatt Health, you will be inspired to transform the American health care system. You will work with a team of passionate and driven professionals on the development of business strategy, policy and program recommendations for our clients. In this role,
Responsibilities:
This role will largely support the investment community via due diligence assignments analyzing the policy and market factors impacting a given sub-sector.
Lead projects end-to-end, including participating in project scoping, staffing decisions, and execution of all research and analytics functions
Cultivate and utilize subject matter expertise to guide qualitative and quantitative analyses that address complex strategy and policy questions and issues.
Serve as a key point of contact for clients across multiple projects, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships based on trust and expertise.
Participate in Manatt’s health care practice strategy initiatives and take a leadership role in practice improvement and engagement, including helping to develop proposals and client pitches.
Oversee and mentor junior consultants, ensuring timely delivery of accurate results, providing constructive feedback, and proactively identifying opportunities for growth and development.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in public health, business administration, public administration, public policy, health administration, health care management or a related field.
Minimum of ten years of substantive and related health care experience, with demonstrated subject matter expertise in evaluating policy and market factors in the context of investment due diligence activities investments and due diligence.
Expertise in policy or programs relating to value-based care, provider reimbursement, the pharmaceutical value chain, and/or health care IT.
Experience in or a demonstrated understanding of the nuances that drive investment decisions for healthcare organizations is highly desired
.Demonstrated client-facing project management, client relationship management and supervisory experience, with a track record of contributing to high-impact projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to a variety of audiences, as well as confidence in facilitating meetings and presenting to groups.
A self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple, diverse projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs.
Strong analytic and research skills with the ability to conduct complex analyses that address strategy and policy questions.
Professional expertise with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
The ability to support business development, including developing relationships with new clients or significantly expanding existing relationships.

Compensation is based on years of relevant experience and advanced degrees $215,000 - $280,000.
