Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Science Researcher to join our team. This role will focus on conducting advanced research in behavioral economics and psychology to inform the development of our financial products and services, enhancing customer engagement and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Research: Conduct in-depth research to understand customer behavior, preferences, and decision-making processes.
Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights related to customer behavior.
Behavioral Insights: Apply behavioral science theories to develop actionable insights to optimize products and customer experiences.
Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to integrate behavioral insights into the design and development of financial products.
Customer Engagement and Behavior: Develop and test behavioral interventions to improve customer engagement and help customers act on their financial intentions.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Thought Leadership: Stay updated with the latest research in behavioral economics and psychology, and share insights with the team.
Effective Communication: Translate research results through powerful storytelling and concrete, actionable recommendations to business partners at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
Education: PhD in Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of research experience in behavioral science, judgment and decision making, or cognitive science, preferably within financial services or healthcare.
Skills: Advanced methodological and statistical proficiency and fluency with R/Stata/Python for analysis and modeling.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of behavioral science theories and their application in financial or health contexts.
Personal Attributes: Innovative thinker, detail-oriented, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborative, positive attitude, and a passion for improving customer well-being.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
