The Team

As a Director within the WI Internal Analytics, Insights and Reporting team this person will be focused on applying their deep analytical expertise and communication skills to support and build relationships across teams and stakeholders in support internal analytic initiatives & projects. You will partner to develop technical, data-driven solutions and translate these solutions into actionable business insight for stakeholder decision-making. You are the analytical expert and data storyteller providing contextualized insights to effectively communicate narratives and visualizations. The insights you provide will support the creation, management, and achievement of business objectives along with new focus areas and success measures. In providing useful insights you will help articulate future vision and influence roadmaps.

  • Ability to think strategically, test hypotheses, challenge assumptions and provide thought leadership
  • Outstanding analytical skills. Ability to break down sophisticated questions and supporting data into well-structured analyses
  • Ability to manage sophisticated projects across teams, and exercise influence and autonomy along with shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Ability to think and work across Fidelity
  • Act as a connection point to other analytical teams within WI and other BUs, form positive relationships to lead and influence cross-functional teams
  • Ability to coach and guide analysts across WI and other BUs
  • Experience in interacting with leaders at all levels of the organization and craft executive level presentations to tell the data story
  • In-depth knowledge of how to leverage data to drive better business decisions through statistical, econometric modeling, and machine learning methods and approaches
  • Proficiency in verbal / written communication and with presentation tools, including the Microsoft Office suite and ThinkCell, Tableau or PowerBI
  • Expert at synthesizing data / trends to develop key insights / storylines that help to effectively connect with leaders
  • Ability to leverage web and app analytics to bridge digital user behavior with offline actions, translating insights into measurable business outcomes
  • Experience conducting advanced cross-channel analytics to provide a holistic view of customer engagement across digital and offline touchpoints
  • Ability to design and implement models to accurately assess the impact of marketing efforts across channels.
  • Expertise in mapping and analyzing end-to-end customer journeys to uncover opportunities for optimization and improved user experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or Masters in a quantitative field preferred
  • Prior experience working in a role requiring working across functions and business units (desired)
  • Proficient in SQL and either Python or R
  • Should be highly organized, curious, self-motivated with strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Agility in adapting to new and changing business areas and taking initiative to drive projects forward in a sophisticated, cross-functional working environment
