Job Description:
The Role
The Director in the Cash Solutions domain, plays a key role in driving operational excellence across our products and services. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Director leads initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce risk and fraud, and ensure alignment with enterprise-wide operational, risk and vendor management goals.
This role collaborates with cross-functional partners-including product, treasury, risk, fraud, distribution -to support the delivery of secure, customer-centric solutions. This role also includes vendor coordination and operational services across the domain.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in business operations or finance, Master's degree a plus.
- 10-12 + years of professional experience in Financial Services banking and payments services.
- Proven ability to implement operational strategies and handle cross-functional initiatives.
- Solid understanding of consumer financial products and operational risk management.
- Experience in identifying, measuring, organizing, and reducing risk and fraud for cash, card and money movement products and experience with regulatory requirements a plus.
- Proficiency in project and program management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence across various levels of the organization.
- Experience with vendor oversight and operational planning cycles is preferred.
- Support and manage operational initiatives across the Cash Solutions domain in partnership with internal business, product, risk, and vendor teams.
- Develop and maintain centralized processes to streamline operations and improve cross-organizational collaboration.
- Monitor and drive operational efficiency, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of initiatives.
- Track and report on key performance metrics aligned with business goals.
- Coordinate due diligence investigations (DDI), vendor technical reviews (VTRs), and financial health assessments (FHA) for external suppliers.
- Identify and help resolve operational challenges, ensuring vendor performance meets expectations.
- Prepare and manage audits conducted by internal and external auditors
- Translate strategic goals into actionable plans and support execution across teams.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to support operational enhancements.
