Job Description
We're seeking a dynamic and strategic partner to the Head of Specialty/Immunology Franchise. You'll play a vital role in supporting the Specialty Leadership Team's operations and contributing to the overarching strategy for maintaining competitiveness in an established market and preparing for new product launches amidst a dynamic payer and policy environment.
You will develop/demonstrate deep expertise in one of the most important and most rapidly evolving parts of the pharmaceutical industry, with a unique vantage point on how key decisions are made. The role is an empowered member of the LT and will ensure operational excellence by establishing and maintaining a portfolio of key initiatives in close collaboration with the LT and cross-functional team. This is a high impact role that will provide significant learning and development opportunities for the right individual and can function as a steppingstone to a range of roles for a highly performing candidate.
What You'll Do
* Be a trusted forward-thinking partner to Head of Specialty, including proactively highlighting business critical risks/opportunities, and planning and directing the most critical organizational, financial, and operational activities.
* Identify opportunities to establish and continuously improve business practices and processes to maximize resources and achieve operational excellence across the Specialty Franchise
* Drive specific strategic projects on an ad-hoc basis as directed by Head of Specialty Franchise
* Facilitate alignment between Franchise team and cross functional partners.
* Assist with regular and ad-hoc executive communication and reporting to US President, North American Leadership Team, and Executive Committee
* Function as a delegate for Head of Specialty Franchise when needed
Who You Are You
You have strong leadership skills, knowledge of biopharma industry standards and practices and a strong background in strategic initiative management and operational optimization. You steer discussions and decisions to keep projects on track and aligned with organizational goals. While you hold accountability, you must also possess the ability to generate enthusiasm, the ability to quickly gain trust and respect from peers and senior leadership and have a history of successfully driving results through strong partnership with others.
Qualifications
Required Skills
* Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
* 10+ years of experience consulting and/or leading complex programs and initiatives
* Experience with Immunology market; and familiarity with US Pharma commercial landscape and US payer dynamics
* Ability to lead and influence in the matrix and cultivate strong internal/external network
* Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Self-starter comfortable navigating through ambiguity
* Great interpersonal skills and ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment
* Experience structuring and managing to timelines and project flows
* Demonstrated track-record of excellence and rapid growth, with an ability to balance multiple priorities
* Strategy consulting skillset

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
