Volt is immediately hiring Facilities & Maintenance Technician in the San Fernando Valley!

As a Facilities & Maintenance Technician you will:

Provide facilities assistance in private offices.
Conduct moves of office furniture upon request.
Monitor, replace, and repair all lights and light fixtures.
Maintain office areas to company standards, ensuring they are cleared of debris in compliance with the safety program.
Maintain painted surfaces by patching and painting as required.
Comply with all internal safety programs and external agency safety regulations.
Monitor and maintain all air conditioner filters.
Ensure all fire extinguishers are viable and replaced as required.
Assist with hanging boards, filing trays, pictures, etc., upon request.
Monitor and maintain all First Aid, AED, and Eyewash stations.
Maintain the parking lot, keeping it clear of debris and trash.
Monitor and maintain all emergency lighting.
Assist contractors as appropriate upon request.
Maintain internal and external building components to company standards.
Assist mechanics in troubleshooting machine issues.
Assist with moving machinery and other equipment upon request.
Assist with preventative maintenance and repair of all equipment.

This is a Full-Time 1st Shift Opportunity.

Pay Rate: $22-25/hr

The ideal candidate will have:

Knowledge of basic machine and facilities maintenance.
Strong communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to multi-task, with previous experience working in a deadline-oriented environment.
