As an Field Service Dispatcher (CES) , you will be tasked with organizing the daily dispatch of
Field Service Technicians for a metro area in a safe and timely manner. You will work closely with Centralized Branch/Operations Managers, Service Managers and Inside Sales Reps to ensure service calls and exchanges are properly scheduled and executed to guarantee superior customer service. What you'll do:
Oversee, schedule and dispatch Technicians within the Centralized branch territory utilizing system resources and map module to maximize efficiency
Drive accurate Service Repair time measurement by ensuring compliance with procedures.
As needed, support branches in maintaining customer relations via phone, making additions, cancellations, and changes regarding equipment location or delivery time
Balance equipment repair with PM currency demands of on-rent equipment.
Ensure necessary service vehicle parts inventory.
Prioritize equipment repairs as necessary to minimize Service Repair time.
Schedule off hour/emergency on-call duty with all field technicians.
Ensure compliance with escalation procedure Optimize use of overtime and outside
Manage and process invoicing of all Field Service Customer Owned Equipment repair, Damage/abuse and Warranty claim processes.
Assign specific service trucks, as require.
Demonstrate commitment to safety and discipline through exemplary personal compliance, accountability and pro-active communication.
Other duties assigned as needed.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Technical knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations
Diligent attention to safety
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership, organization and communication skills
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
