Financial Accountant II, Corporate
*Hybrid work model, 2 days per week in office

The Financial Accountant II of Financial Accounting reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor. This role is responsible for supporting the financial close process and related activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the related TJX Financial Statements, as well as presenting and providing analysis of these financial statements. What You'll Do:
- Prepare/consolidate Financial Statements and supporting schedules - P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc. with a focus on accuracy and timelines
- Prepare journal entries and accruals to ensure accuracy of General Ledger
- Ensure all transactions are accounted for in accordance with U.S. GAAP and perform/review SOX controls, ensuring a control environment
- Complete P&L variance analysis & commentary for management review
- Prepare accurate and timely account reconciliations
- Assist in updating forecasts and creating original plans
- Participate in special projects/presentations to management and adhoc tasks assigned
- Identify & implement opportunities for operational improvement & efficiencies
- Analyze trends and partner with various Finance & Operating teams to update plans and forecasts, and investigate variances
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance, CPA/MBA a plus
- 1-3 years of Accounting, Audit, or related Finance experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and the key financial statements
- Self starter, hardworking with intellectual curiosity
- Adaptable, dynamic thinker with proven presentation/communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate, both verbal and written, with key business partners and management
- Aptitude with Microsoft Office Application
- Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Drive for career advancement
- Oracle/ERP knowledge a plus

This position has a starting salary range of $66,500 to $83,100 per year.
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
