The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with your fellow developers to design and develop security related features for our brokerage trading websites. Our ideal candidate is passionate about designing solutions!
We are looking for a self-starter whom is able to work well with different collaborators including business partners, architects, systems analysts, engineers, and tech leads. You'll develop and maintain critical functionality for security features such as the login page workflow, Multi-Factor Authentication, and more. Your work impacts the thousands of registered investment advisors, correspondents, and individual investors who use our platform.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, information systems preferred, with at least 6 years of development experience.
- High proficiency in Java, Javascript, and a fundamental understanding of software design, data structures and algorithms is required.
- Experience with the Angular and Spring Boot framework, Restful APIs, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins Core, and Datadog.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and parse business logic into technical requirements, experienced in an agile scrum environment.
- Leadership and mentorship experience preferred.
- Background in building technologies consumed by other developers and integrators, crafting user documentation.
- Providing peer reviews for code changes.
