Job Description

Our well-known retail client is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team on a 6 month contract, with the potential to extend. This person will need to work onsite 1-2x per week.  As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for executing day to day design needs that support marketing, digital, and in store teams. You will spend most of your time creating, resizing, refining, and preparing visual assets that showcase products at value driven price points. This is a highly hands on role where you will work within established brand guidelines, follow creative direction, and ensure every asset is accurate and on brand. You will collaborate with senior designers and cross functional partners to deliver clean, polished work across digital, print, and social channels. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce digital marketing assets
    Create and resize graphics for email, web banners, and paid ads that support promotional campaigns and product storytelling.
  • Execute in store and print design
    Support the development of signage and store visual materials while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Prepare production ready files
    Ensure all assets are properly formatted, labeled, and delivered accurately for both print and digital use.
  • Follow creative direction
    Apply feedback from senior designers and creative leads to refine and finalize assets efficiently and with attention to detail.
  • Support seasonal campaigns
    Build campaign assets across multiple channels, ensuring cohesive storytelling and consistent messaging.
  • Organize and manage assets
    Maintain well-structured files with clear naming conventions and proper storage for shared team access.
  • Assist with photo and product preparation
    Crop and optimize product images for use across digital and print channels.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams
    Partner with marketing, merchandising, and ecommerce teams to ensure assets meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Support fast turnaround requests
    Execute quick updates, resize, and design adjustments in a fast-paced environment.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • 2 to 6 years of digital and print design experience
    • Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
    • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory
    • Ability to design within brand guidelines while bringing creative ideas forward
    • Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback
    • Portfolio showcasing relevant design work including student or personal projects
    • Ability to work a hybrid schedule with time split between office and remote work

    In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
