About This Role
Biogen is seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Director Product Manager to lead the enablement of end-to-end insights and analytics capabilities powered by AI. This role will be responsible for building and scaling a centralized insights hub that empowers commercial stakeholders with timely, actionable intelligence. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, technical fluency, and cross-functional collaboration to drive enterprise-wide analytics transformation.
This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI-driven analytics at Biogen, working closely with IT, data engineering, and commercial teams to deploy advanced tools, curate proprietary data assets, and establish the infrastructure needed to support scalable AI adoption. The individual will report to the Director, Business Insights & Analytics.This is an individual contributor position and will not have any direct reports.
What You'll Do
Partner with the analytics and insights lead to define scope and roadmaps, ensuring timely, business-aligned delivery
Lead the implementation of AI-powered analytics, including self-serve ad hoc tools, visualizations, and driver analysis
Deploy generative AI solutions to synthesize market research and unstructured data for commercial use
Build and scale a centralized insights hub as a single source of truth for commercial analytics
Collaborate with IT to curate proprietary data assets and enhance AI model performance
Identify infrastructure gaps and co-develop data fabric, catalogs, dictionaries, and governance frameworks to support AI adoption
Work cross-functionally to align analytics capabilities with business needs and drive stakeholder engagement
Stay current on AI and analytics trends, introducing innovations to strengthen Biogen's insights ecosystem
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment
Communicate effectively across teams, navigating ambiguity and fostering collaboration

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 7 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or product management
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data architecture, and modern analytics platforms
Experience deploying tools that support self-service analytics and generative AI applications
Proven ability to translate complex data into strategic insights and influence senior stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building strong cross-functional partnerships
Preferred Skills
Experience with data governance, data quality, and data cataloging tools such as Informatica or Collibra
Prior healthcare data experience, including working knowledge of physician and patient claims; PurpleLabs or Komodo data preferred
Knowledge/experience mining and analyzing medical claims/EMR, social media, etc., data with a strategic/inquisitive mindset and a proven record of producing actionable business insights
Prior analytics experience conducting customer, field and patient analytics
Additional Information
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
