Description:Follow machine assembly drawings, manufacturer's manuals, general instructions, and standard practices to locate source of trouble, disassemble, repair, adjust, align, replace and/or install parts and reassemble, ensuring safe operation of complex CNC machinery
Repair and adjust mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and parts, install new units or fixtures on machines, and make modifications or alterations in accordance with instructions or manufacturer's specifications and directions. Perform other machine maintenance and repair operations where trouble may be difficult to locate and clues can be given relative to symptoms and component or part requiring attention.
Assist higher grade Mechanics with more difficult repair operations. Make up brackets and straps and other simple parts. Lubricate, clean, inspect and perform other preventive maintenance operations per manufacturer's specifications and standard procedures to maintain machines and equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
2 to 3 years of education related to production equipment maintenance, or 5 years equivalent work experience working with production equipment maintenance.
Desired Skills:
The ability to think critically, the drive to determine how equipment works and to break down and repair to a component level. The ability to read, interpret, and comprehend mechanical schematics. The ability to work in a team environment, sharing the skills and knowledge of the group

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
