Manager, Clinical Outsourcing 2075045

Location: Cambridge, MA (Onsite)

Job Overview: This role requires a candidate with a solid grasp of Clinical Outsourcing processes to effectively manage numerous clinical trials, focusing primarily on oncology and hematology studies across different development phases.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage issuance of RFPs, proposal evaluations, and vendor selection for clinical trials.
  • Facilitate end-to-end vendor selection, from identification to negotiation of contracts.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, change orders, and ensure efficient trial support.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline outsourcing and vendor management.

Primary Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a scientific field with at least 2 years of experience in vendor and contract management within a sponsor company or CRO.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the drug development process and proven competence in RFP processes, vendor selection, and budget negotiations.
  • Skilled in managing legal agreements and financial aspects of clinical trials with additional proficiency in RFP procurement software preferred.
  • Self-directed and motivated, with strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, adept at working in a fast-paced environment.
