The Team
We are seeking a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis to join American Tower’s Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) team. The FP&A team partners with internal stakeholders to provide actionable analyses and recommendations driven by detailed analytics. As a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, you will build relationships with key stakeholders in order to establish yourself as a true business partner to the U.S. Tower management team. More specifically, you will be looked at as the subject matter expert for all financial aspects of the organization in order to provide premier business partnering support and align their goal and initiatives to our financial outcomes.
What You Can Offer Us
- Partner with management groups to drive business results, including the Sales teams, Legal, and IT
- Support the management groups by providing complex analytics and analyses; weekly forecasting updates including risks/opportunities, analysis of potential organic growth opportunities with key customers, and support deep dives into various initiatives
- Support preparation of meeting materials for management groups, committees, off-sites, and firm-wide meetings
- Prepare monthly managerial statements and key performance indicators; commission plans for the Sales organization and inputs; other ad hoc reporting and analytical support as needed
- Support the execution of the annual budget, quarterly forecasting, and long-term plan of the various groups:Lead IT development projects, including design of budgeting/forecast systems; manage business partner and stakeholder requirements.
- Analyze impact of acquisitions including adjusted funds operations, return on invested capital and earnings per share impacts, perform complex financial modeling using discounted cash flow analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master's Degree or MBA a plus.
- Between 4-6 years of experience in a business environment in a financial planning or financial analysis role required.
- Accounting knowledge of income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows required.
- Experience with TM1, Oracle and budgeting tools such as Cognos required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
