Job Description
General Summary:
The Medical Engagement Operations Manager position will be responsible for managing the HCP contracting process and conducting the planning for Medical Advisory Boards across all disease areas for Global Medical and North America Medical Affairs. This position will collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders, external thought leaders, and external agencies. This position will report to the Sr. Director, Medical Operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Submit Contract Request Forms
- Assist in the completion of HCP agreements and requisitions
- Submit HCP invoices and track payments
- Assist in the timely completion of GST reporting and Sub-certification Review
- Ensure required documentation is uploaded into the contracting tool for audit readiness
- Provide project management for Advisory Boards, including scheduling kick-off and planning meetings, creating timelines, managing the virtual and/or onsite vendors, and arranging moderator training.
- Liaise with internal partners to manage contracting, fair market value and global spend reporting
- Ensure advisory board compliance with Regulatory, Legal and OBIE policies assuring audit-readiness
- Work closely with Corporate Services to arrange HCP travel and logistics for in-person advisory boards
- Support compiling the Annual Advisory Board plan
- Prepare status reports and training documents as needed
- Maintain the Medical Operations Advisory Board Teams site
- Maintain the Medical Advisory Board Planning intranet site

- Strong interpersonal skills with experience supporting cross-functional teams in matrix environment; skilled at exchanging complex/sensitive information and influencing others to take action.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion

- Excellent ability to solve problems by applying technical experience and guided by precedents; works somewhat independently, escalating issues or engaging senior staff as needed

- Strong project management skills
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS with 2+ years pharmaceutical company experience
- Typically requires 4 years of experience working in a project management role in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Pay Range:
$119,520 - $179,280Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
