The Role:
The Manager, Learning Technology Development is a member of the FI and FBOT Learning team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative learning and development solutions using advanced technologies such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and graphic design and video editing tools. This role aims to enhance the effectiveness of learning and development programs by creating low-code applications, automating workflows, and producing engaging multimedia content. The objective is to streamline business processes, reduce manual tasks, and ensure comprehensive documentation and data security while effectively collaborating with stakeholders.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manager, Learning Technology Development to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing tools, applications, and products that support innovative learning and development solutions; managing projects; and collaborating with learning experience designers, consultants, senior leadership, and internal customers to enhance training programs and streamline business processes through technology.
The Expertise and Skills You bring
We are looking for a person who has:
Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform tools, especially Power Apps and Power Automate
Strong graphic design and video production skills using tools like Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Figma
Ability to manage and maintain databases, with a focus on data integrity and security
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and experience designing intuitive user interfaces
Experience with project management, including stakeholder coordination
Demonstrated ability to independently create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Experience creating animations, visual effects, and multimedia content to enhance learning engagement
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of work experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of work experience, with 2+ years of that work experience in a similar role, focusing on designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions using advanced technologies
The work you'll be doing includes:
Power Platforms
Designing and building custom solutions using Power Apps
Creating and maintaining automated workflows with Power Automate
Connecting Power Apps to various data sources to support learning and business processes
Applying UI/UX design principles to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
Data and Reporting
Managing and querying databases to support learning solutions
Implementing data security measures to ensure compliance and protect sensitive information
Supporting data integrity and reporting needs for learning initiatives
Project Management and Collaboration
Leading or supporting learning technology projects from concept to delivery
Collaborating with Learning Experience Designers, Consultants, and senior leadership
Maintaining comprehensive documentation for all learning solutions
Gathering and incorporating stakeholder feedback to improve learning experiences
Multimedia Content Creation
Creating engaging animations, visual effects, videos using tools such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Figma to enhance learning materials.
Collaborating with Learning Experience Designers to create engaging multimedia content
Nice to Haves
Relevant certifications (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Adobe Creative Cloud)
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices
Experience in capturing technical documentation
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices
Basic knowledge of Change, Application, and Incident Management within the ServiceNow
Familiarity with programming languages beyond Power Apps (JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, JSON)
Experience in HR and or Learning and Development is a plus
