KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for providing world class operational support across Bain Capital – Capital Markets business units
Lead all operational aspects of the Security Master File and corresponding security reference data, with primary focus on asset set up & reference data scrubs to external vendors for the Credit and Insurance Solutions businesses across multiple investment strategies and asset classes: not limited to, syndicated bank loans, private credit, bonds, mortgage backed securities, asset backed securities, and collateralized loan obligations.
Overseeing and managing the day-to-day support of the business’ data requirements ensuring timely, accurate, and reliable completion of all deliverables
Build, manage and enhance relationships with internal clients and external partners, including Front Office, Investor Relations, Data Governance, Finance, and Information Technology.
Develop, modify and manage workflows and procedures designed to increase controls and improve efficiency regarding the Security Master File and corresponding reference data
Lead root cause analysis of data quality issues related to specific investment strategies and assets.
Collaborate with Information Technology on go forward development and enhancement of the Security Master File
Candid and transparent communication with colleagues and management team

DESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATION

5 - 10 years of experience in a complex financial services industry
Prior experience supporting security reference data required
BS or BA with finance and accounting basics
Experience with Bloomberg
Familiarity with legal documents and credit agreements
Experience in Advent Geneva preferred
