THE ROLE
Under manager supervision, the Marketing Associate provides marketing support across a range of programs and initiatives. This role works under the direction of the Marketing Manager (or team lead) and assists with integrated marketing activities designed to support key business goals of client retention, diversification and raising the profile of MFS.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Observe the development, coordination and execution of marketing campaigns (digital, print, email, social media, etc.) to provide tactical support, as directed and supervised by the Marketing Manager and members of the Strategy and Insights Group (SAIG).
Under manager supervision, participate in the logistic planning for marketing events, and sponsorships. Sit in on the planning process, vendor management, and venue set up to build an understanding and provide end-to-end tactical support across events.
With team and manager guidance, provide support across a range of Digital Marketing initiatives, including building and distribution of emails (e.g. event invitations, newsletters) and track data analytics on email campaigns and create results reports.
Under manager supervision, maintain campaign, email, and events calendar for transparency and coordination across deliverables.
Provide administrative support such as compliance submissions, invoice processing, translations and liaising with external vendors as needed.
Support paid media, social media and PR efforts, as required.
Support global marketing teams across various projects as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
0-1 years of work experience in marketing, sales and/or finance, preferably within financial services or related industries.
Good understanding of marketing and digital marketing concepts
Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal); ability to interact successfully with team members and stake holders at varying levels
Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to work as part of a team
PREFERRED:
Basic understanding of financial, investment, and portfolio-management concepts and terminology
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); experience with CRM, CMS, or marketing automation platforms is a plus.
