Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking for Material Coordinators in the Boston, MA area!

Title: Material Coordinator I

Pay Range: $40,000 – $50,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: Boston, MA 02451

Hours: 5:30am – 2pm

Job Overview

The Material Coordinator is responsible for sorting, cleaning, lubricating, and maintaining the operating conditions of tools and consumables for both items that are returned to the warehouse from the field or purchased through local vendors. They are also responsible for checking tools to ensure they are effective and safe for use in the field.

Responsibilities

· Process and prepare Tool Orders for delivery

· Stocking shelves, monitoring inventory levels and reordering as needed

· Cleaning and re-set up of tools to go back into the field

· Sort and process Tool/Material returns from job sites

· Maintaining a clean and safe work area

· Work independently and assist team members in other areas as needed

Qualifications

· High school Diploma or equivalent relevant experience

· Experience in Tools and Consumables

· Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills

· Demonstrated problem-solving abilities

· Ability to manage shifting priorities

· Demonstrated knowledge of Office Suite and Tool tracking software (ToolWatch) preferred

Physical Requirements

Must be capable of performing various physically demanding tasks essential to shop/warehouse operations. This includes the ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 25 pounds repeatedly throughout the day, as well as standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing for extended periods. Additionally, the position requires dexterity to handle fragile or delicate items with care, accurately read labels and instructions, and follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment.
