Production Assistant - Hybrid, Part-Time (3 days per week)
Location: Framingham, MA; 2 days on-site (Tuesdays mandatory), 1 day remote.
Duration: ~6 months+
Hours per week: 24 hours per week
Rate Range: $29-$31.81 per hour
Timeline for hire: 1-2 interviews + onboarding, ideal start is mid to late May
Position Overview
Our retail client in Framingham is seeking a Production Assistant to help part-time to support a series of photoshoots and production-related administrative duties. The Production Assistant will play a role in supporting the production team by coordinating photoshoots and assisting with various production tasks. This position requires a proactive individual who is adept at managing timelines, communicating effectively, and ensuring that all aspects of the production process run smoothly. Could even be a fantastic role for someone who has been in the creative marketing space to make a pivot with a major retailer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and execution of photo shoots, including scheduling and logistics planning.
- Support the production team with set-up and breakdown of equipment and props before and after shoots.
- Maintain organization of production materials and assist with inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with photographers, models, and other team members to ensure a seamless production process.
- Help in the preparation of production schedules and assist in tracking project progress.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a production assistant or in a similar production role.
- Strong understanding of photoshoot processes and production workflows.
- Proficiency in organizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, if required.
