Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) in Hendersonville Plant for 50+ checkpoints in the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design to assure PCB manufacturability, incl. tombstone control (chip condition &soldering failure detection); lead thermal balance; SMT fiducial location; cmpt modification &footprint alignment according to part specs; assurance of copper tracks widths &connection between chip leads; &to avoid issues with eqpt clamping sys. Bachelor, Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automot Syss Engrg, or related. 24 mos exp as Engr or related, performing DFM in plant for checkpoints in PCB design to assure PCB manufacturability, incl. chip condition &soldering failure detection; lead thermal balance; &SMT fiducial location, or related.
