Our company's Discovery Biologics is seeking a talented postdoctoral researcher to advance our understanding of biotherapeutic protein modalities' structure-property relationships. More specifically the successful candidate will drive the design of large numbers of proteins in biotherapeutic modality spaces with diverse properties and assess them across a variety of endpoints relevant to drug discovery/development. Leveraging our company's state-of-the art capabilities, the candidate will use computational structure-guided and AI/ML design tools, and high-throughput protein production and characterization to build predictive models and inform the optimization of key performance attributes. The role is based out of our Cambridge, MA facility.

Education/Experience

• PhD in a relevant field such as Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Computational Biology/Chemistry, Protein engineering, Biophysics.

• Strong publication and presentation record

Desired skills:

• Experience in protein expression, purification, and characterization, including testing in in vitro cell-based assays

• High competency in the application of advanced computational methods towards protein design or analysis

• Deep scientific understanding of protein structure and biophysics

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
