As the Practice Management Coordinator, you will work with the Practice Manager of BLD and the Chief Practice Management Officer of BLD. to ensure timely and effective execution on processes and systems that support the strategic direction of the Business Law Department.
What You Will Do:
Build and maintain organizational and reporting tools used to track personnel, expenses, projects and other relevant department level data.
Coordinate with the key administrative groups in the firm to ensure the execution of priority initiatives in a timely and effective manner.
Oversee the administrative details relating to department level trainings and special events (scheduling, logistical planning, distributing invites and materials, populating firm calendars and web pages, as appropriate). When applicable, provide support for virtual and local events.
Create monthly reporting updates and distribute to BU practice management teams
Work with the Practice Manager of BLD to collect data, organize and upload to secure sites for department Co-Chairs.
Work with the Practice Manager of BLD to collect attorney data and other reporting information as requested by the BLD Co-Chairs.
Maintain robust department iNet pages (including secure and public pages).
Monitor the department inboxes and respond to inquiries. This includes making sure hiring approval requests are sent to the BLD Co-Chairs for review.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date action item checklists for various department level processes.
Work with teams to develop reporting tools that showcase data for Department Chairs.
Work with and train department level Co-Op(s) to assist with department level tasks.
Help field and assist with general department information requests from attorneys and staff.
Conduct Workday updates such as BU, LPA, and PPA modifications for timekeepers.
Maintain and update department level DG lists.
Develop a strong understanding of essential firm technologies such as iManage, MS Teams, Excel, Workday, Foundation and Intapp Time.
Attend various meetings and special events to keep abreast of developments within the Firm.

Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree required.
1-2 years’ experience required.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload.
Sophisticated computer skills, particularly with Excel and Outlook, as well as the ability to learn and keep current with various software packages.
Ability to handle pressure, extended hours, if requested, and work on multiple projects and changing priorities.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills, a professional demeanor and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm personnel.
Sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to respect, protect and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.
Must be available at times for events outside of regular working hours (early morning or evening events).
Minimum 3 days a week in the office.
