What You Will Be Doing

As a Process Engineer in golf ball manufacturing, you will lead the development and optimization of processes involving advanced polymeric materials, with a strong focus on rubber chemistries. Working both independently and collaboratively, you will design and execute experiments to evaluate new formulations and improve performance across all golf ball layers. This role supports key business initiatives by enhancing core and ball molding processes, driving continuous improvement in manufacturing, and leveraging data analysis to implement scalable, high-efficiency solutions. You will also contribute to innovation by identifying patentable advancements in process design, product development, and manufacturing technologies.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or appropriately related field required. Preference given for advanced degrees and/or additional related coursework.

  • Five years of process development, manufacturing, or polymer chemistry experience required.

  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Familiarity with the game of golf is preferred.

  • Must pass Health Services screening, including accurate color vision.

  • Must not be adversely affected by chemicals in the laboratory, golf ball manufacturing or golf course environment.

  • Must be capable of lifting 40 lbs. and be able to travel locally daily.

  • Must be familiar with Acushnet Company’s Safety Policies and Practice.

  • Must be familiar with Acushnet Company’s Hazardous Waste Compliance Policies and Practice.

Pay Range: $88,252.50-$110,187.50
