Product Manager Intern – UI & Agent Workspace (US-Based)

Location: United States (Remote or Hybrid)
Duration: Summer 2025 (Full-time, 10–12 weeks)
Eligibility: Currently enrolled in a U.S.-based Bachelor's program, graduating within the 2025/2026 year preferably.

Your Role:

As a Product Manager Intern focusing on the Genesys Cloud Agent Workspace, you'll be an integral part of a cross-functional team dedicated to enhancing the user interface (UI) and overall agent experience. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, UX designers, and user researchers, you'll contribute to the development of intuitive and efficient tools that empower customer support agents.​

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze the current Agent Workspace UI to identify areas for improvement in usability and workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with UX and engineering teams to design and implement user-centric solutions.
  • Assist in defining product requirements and user stories based on research and stakeholder input.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to agent productivity and satisfaction.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Engage in user research sessions to gather feedback and validate design concepts.​

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX/UI Design, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in UI/UX design and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid or remote environment, depending on team location. Willingness to visit the Raleigh, NC office if requested.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development life cycles.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.​

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
