Our financial services client is looking for a Production Designer to work a 3-month, hybrid role with a strong possibility of extension (40 hrs/week). Candidates must be able to work onsite in Westwood, MA 3 days/week. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in both design/layout and 2D animations, plus some experience with print assets. They'll work with other team members to create and/or animate: Social Media assets, Out-of-Home ads, HTML5 OLA banners, LED signage, printed flyers, and Emails.

This role will report to the Production Design Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work from agreed upon creative briefs to design/revise marketing materials and assure they meet internal or vendor specifications upon delivery
• Prioritize and juggle multiple projects daily while delivering best possible user experience on strategy and on time
• Help Creative team workflow process run smoothly and find innovative ways to enhance it
• Develop and nurture relationships with colleagues creative, project management, resource management, etc.. operating as a positive agent for improving internal communication and workflow
• Partner with teams collaboratively to work through feedback together and arrive at the best strategic creative output

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• 2-5 years of production design experience at an in-house agency, marketing firm/department and/or external agency studio
• Fluent in Adobe layout programs, with focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Proven experience with Adobe After Effects to create animations for social media and OOH
• Experience with Adobe Animate, or similar software, for HTML5 banner development
• Experience with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Ability to quickly absorb, express and expand upon Brand Platform and Graphic Standards
• Online portfolio of work that displays solid graphic design skills with an eye for typography, composition, layout, color, illustration and pixel-level attention to detail
• Excellent organization and decision-making skills
• Takes direction and feedback well
• A versatile team player with a positive attitude

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Understanding of photography select process, artistic cropping minor retouching and sharing assets through a content library system
• Proficiency in utilizing web-based HTML email platforms to design effective email marketing campaigns. Knowledge of mobile & desktop technical/design best practices, with a basic knowledge of HTML coding for emails.
•  Experience in leveraging Generative AI design technologies to create innovative and visually compelling layouts, enhancing user engagement and delivering high-quality creative solutions.
