The Program Coordinator will support all aspects of the academic operations for Babson’s portfolio of Experiential Learning courses. Specifically responsible for working closely with faculty to ensure continuity of a high level of program support; collaborating extensively with faculty members, campus partners, and community partners; participating in program design and implementation; and timely delivery of support services to ensure a high level of program support. Under the direction of the Associate Director, Experiential Learning and in partnership with the Undergraduate Experiential Learning & Academic Excellence team, this position manages improvement efforts and implementation of new initiatives for the Experiential Learning Curriculum.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manages the day-to-day administrative operations supporting Experiential Learning initiatives, including but not limited to support of the Undergraduate Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) Program, of faculty and courses in the Experiential Learning portfolio, creating and updating processes and resources related to the Experiential Learning curriculum; and communicating program updates, expectations, and information to appropriate audiences which may include: external partners, faculty, students, staff, and other members of the community.
  • Manages the operational aspects of the Undergraduate MCFE Program, including soliciting and managing student demand, information sessions, and program materials, and facilitating program-related events. Designs and manages the MCFE project catalog and client documentation.
  • Designs, develops, and distributes marketing materials to educate students, recruit partners and promote participation in Experiential Learning opportunities. Ensures marketing materials meet Babson standards.
  • Utilizes and maintains accurate client information in Salesforce; updates client application as needed.
  • Tracks student/employer/faculty satisfaction through surveys; evaluates programs, systems, and processes, and recommends opportunities for improvement; recommends key initiatives to add value for employers, students, and alumni; and with the Associate Director, gathers data and creates reports for bi-annual team meetings.
  • Assists with maintenance of technology and social media resources; promotes Experiential opportunities and partnerships with weekly posts on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
  • Collaborates with the Center for Engaged Learning & Teaching, Glavin Office, and Blank School to support, leverage and expand Experiential Learning opportunities both in and outside the classroom and for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Collaborates with campus partners for operational aspects of Advanced Experiential Learning Curriculum (i.e., IT, Catering, Legal Counsel, Risk Management, Facilities, etc.).
  • Recruits, trains and manages MCFE Mentors. Holds regular meetings with mentors, evaluates their performance, provides appropriate coaching.
  • Responsible for managing within budget.
  • Participates in various programs and college-wide committees.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOUR WILL NEED

Bachelor’s Degree

A minimum of 1-3 years of related experience.

Must possess a professional demeanor with exceptional organization, written and oral communication skills, including group presentation and facilitation skills.

Ability to multitask.

Ability to focus on organization and creative problem-solving, coordinating people, processes, and communications to ensure a cohesive and impactful program experience for all involved.

Ability to take initiative and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Ability to work both independently, on teams and as part of committees.

Ability to work with ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, and faculty.

Must have a proactive and collaborative attitude, including diplomacy and tact, towards all Babson constituents: clients, alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents and the Babson community.

Flexibility and willingness to assume new tasks and special projects.

Must have strong technology skills and comfort including proficiency in Canvas, Microsoft Office, Canva, Salesforce, video conference platforms, room reservation systems, calendar systems for student scheduling and using social media as tools.

Envisions and proposes new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.

Anticipates and embraces change; demonstrates willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

Some early mornings and/or evenings and occasional weekends required.

Requires work onsite a minimum of 3-4 days per week with increased remote flexibility based on time of year and position/program needs; the on-campus requirement is subject to modification based on organizational need.
