The History of Art & Architecture Program Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for the department, welcoming students, faculty, and visitors and responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and via email. The Coordinator processes all applications to our M.A. and Ph.D. programs, manages administrative forms for current students, coordinates course catalogue and room scheduling, and maintains records for undergraduate majors and minors as well as graduate degree candidates. This role also includes overseeing the inventory and ordering of office supplies, supervising projects assigned to work-study students, and handling various day-to-day tasks such as posting flyers, distributing and sending mail, assisting with event planning, creating posters to promote upcoming courses, updating the department website, and promoting the department’s activities through marketing efforts. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the smooth operation of the department.
Skills
Two years of college or equivalent, B.A./B.S. preferred, and one to three years of experience.
