The Programmer Analyst - Java Apps will help analyze user specifications and requirements related to moderately complex systems applications and generate programs to meet user needs.
What you'll do:
Write application programs
Convert specifications into programming language
Verification of program logic by preparing test data for trial runs
De-bug applications, including performing initial testing after problem has been fixed
Produce functional (technical) specification document
Outline data structures that need to change and timeframe for making changes
Create promotion document
Outline steps for putting program into production
Implement program
Execute program after testing
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
3 years application development using J2SE 1.4 or higher
1 year SQL/Relational Database Experience
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Strong sense of urgency concerning deadlines
