The Team
We are seeking a Project Coordinator, Construction to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Site Development team. The Site Development team delivers new assets and manages capital improvement and structural redevelopment projects across the Company’s U.S. tower portfolio. Day to day you will provide coordination and task-level support to Construction Managers. As a Project Coordinator you will partner cross-functionally to ensure the smooth and timely completion of projects.
What You Can Offer Us
- Build strong relationships and coordinate project and program deliverables with multiple internal teams.
- Participate on a collaborative cross-functional team to effectively support the processes all phases of projects or subprojects.
- Monitor project data for accurate forecasting and receiving through all systems (OBIEE, iProcurement, Siterra).
- Create post-project data pulls, cycle times, and cost analyses.
- Assume the role of subject matter expert for all construction system platforms in order to provide support to Construction Managers.
- Project coordinate with all levels of management; Construction Managers, Senior Construction Managers, and Regional Directors for outstanding issues, emergencies, and other requested data pulls.
- Approximately 5% of the time the role will be performed outside of a conventional office environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Between 3–5 years of administrative experience required.
- A minimum of 2 years of telecommunications industry experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of site acquisition and construction for wireless sites preferred.
- Approximately 5% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
- Strong organizational skills: ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment
