Location: Remote, but needs to work either EST or CST hours
Duration: 6 Months
Rate Range: $50-$55 per hour
Timeline for hire: 2 interviews - mid August start
Job Description
Our client, a Boston-based tech SaaS company, is looking for a Senior UX Designer with Graphic Design experience to lead the creation of visually engaging and user-friendly web experiences for a leading digital experience company. This role blends user experience design with graphic design expertise, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure all digital assets align with brand guidelines and marketing goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about design, and proficient in modern web and visual design tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Web Design & Development
- Design responsive, visually compelling web pages that meet brand and accessibility standards.
- Translate business goals and user needs into innovative digital experiences that drive engagement and conversions.
- Collaborate with developers to implement and refine front-end design elements.
- Optimize designs for performance, speed, and responsiveness.
- User Experience Design
- Conduct user research to understand audience behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize and test design concepts.
- Iterate on designs based on usability testing and user feedback.
- Ensure intuitive, seamless experiences across all digital touchpoints.
- Use analytics and user data to evaluate and improve design effectiveness.
- Promote inclusive design practices and ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
- Graphic Design & Visual Content Creation
- Design and maintain graphics for web pages, campaigns, and digital assets.
- Ensure visual consistency across all platforms and marketing materials.
- Edit and optimize images for web use.
- Collaborate with marketing to produce engaging promotional and branded content.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in web and UX design, with a strong graphic design background.
- Proficiency in Figma and Photoshop, Illustrator, XD
- Experience working with CMS platforms (preferably Drupal).
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS or digital experience platforms.
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX and visual design projects.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent attention to detail and visual design sensibility.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
