This is a position in BU NEIDL Nonclinical Studies Unit (NSU) and works in BSL-2, BSL-3, and BSL-4. Work in BSL-3 and BSL-4 will involve Tier 1 select agents. The NSU is focused on performing contract based regulated (GLP/Animal Rule) studies in high and maximum containment. Projects include model development, assay development, and efficacy testing of medical counter measures against high consequence pathogens.
Skills
Bachelor's with 5-8 years, or Master's with 3-5 years of experience. Experience organizing and analyzing data evaluating clinical samples or efficacy of vaccines and therapeutics is desirable. Experience working in a Quality (GxP) environment is required. Must be able to pass health and security checks to permit work in a BSL-3 and BSL-4 laboratories with Tier 1 select agent viruses.
