The Section of Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Infectious Diseases are recruiting for a research study coordinator to support the implementation of a multiple research studies at Boston Medical Center (BMC) patients in the Boston Medical Center TB clinic.
- Screening and enrollment of participants, explaining research procedures, obtaining informed consent, and administering interviews and surveys.
- Assisting with study procedures as needed; coordinating specimen collection, performing data collection and data entry; maintaining clear, concise, accurate, and legible records.
- Schedules study visits and provides reminder calls.
- Maintains study supply inventory.
- May assist with preparing and maintaining regulatory records.
- Participates in staff meetings/initiatives including appropriate quality improvement and education activities, or if unable to attend non-mandatory activities, accepts responsibility to review meeting minutes and becomes knowledgeable of issues discussed.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of experience.
