Salesforce Architect Job Description

As a Salesforce Architect, you will design, develop, and oversee solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem for our client. Our client utilizes Salesforce to support a variety of divisions and business units. We aim to enhance our capabilities and introduce innovative solutions, improving efficiency and aligning with organizational goals. Youll work on challenging projects such as legacy system transformations, large-scale integrations, and architectural modernization.

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect with deep technical expertise and outstanding communication skills who can understand the complex business needs and technical requirements, and then craft scalable, sustainable solutions. This position will be responsible for designing application enhancements, systems integrations, and maximizing efficiency while capitalizing on all the features and benefits of the Salesforce platform to meet organizational needs. This position will promote adoption, keep current on new Salesforce releases and development best practices, and act as a subject matter expert on complex technical issues in our clients Salesforce environment.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions
Extensive experience defining system architecture, assessing current-state gaps, and delivering future-state solutions aligned with business goals
Expertise in multi-system integrations, APIs, and enterprise-scale architecture design
Proficiency in Salesforce platform capabilities, including complex configurations, code development, and app design
Experience in data modeling, data management best practices, and enterprise-level reporting strategies
Strong understanding of Salesforce sharing rules, security architecture, and SSO implementation
Proven track record of collaborating with stakeholders and leading development teams in Agile environments
Advanced hands-on experience with Salesforce development tools such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, etc.
Active Salesforce certifications (such as Salesforce Architect certifications)
Experience with Agile methodologies and running projects on Agile

Responsibilities:

Serve as a principal architect, providing technical leadership and guidance for Salesforce solutions for the MassDOT Highway Division
Develop scalable architectural designs aligned with MassDOT’s evolving needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable designs
Oversee integration of Salesforce with various external systems and APIs
the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality deliverables
Conduct system audits, performance evaluations, and architectural reviews
Stay updated on Salesforce advancements and incorporate innovative solutions to optimize the platform
Drive adoption across the organization by assisting with OCM activities and strategic initiatives
Participate in release management, change management, and deployment processes.
