The Team
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Marketing team. The team impacts lead generation and new sales opportunities through digital campaigns, trade shows, and sales enablement materials. Day to day you will lead the team responsible for targeted marketing campaigns and establish strong partnerships with existing customers. You will help drive new business opportunities and support our web presence, including our corporate website. As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will partner cross-functionally to support the development and execution of communications and internal programs.
What You Can Offer Us
- Define strategic marketing goals and objectives.
- Develop a deep understanding of our market, customers, and competitors to guide marketing strategy and segmentation approach.
- Develop and communicate market position(s) that are clear, defensible, and can be monetized.
- Collaborate across the sales organization to determine business priorities and align marketing strategies and resources.
- Oversee the content of our U.S. public website, including asset development, search engine optimization, and more.
- Mine for insights through customer face time and interaction with the sales team; use insights to create marketing campaigns.
- Oversee the design and execution of a bi-annual customer satisfaction survey and help develop action plans to facilitate improvement within identified opportunity areas.
- Support sales enablement to create material, including product benefits, positioning, and selling strategies.
- Partner cross-functionally to set the tone and framework for international marketing programs and support the development and execution of corporate communications.
- Partner with the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing to optimize content for digital channels, measure campaign success, and execute initiatives for continuous improvement.
- As a Senior Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the recruitment, performance management, and career development of Account Marketing Managers. You’ll also be expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet business objectives.

What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field required.
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a marketing role required.
- Supervisory experience required; business-to-business marketing experience preferred.
- Wireless, telecommunications, or technology-based industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with customer resource management systems such as Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Account Engagement, preferred. Approximately 10–15% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities.
- Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for yourself and a team to meet requirements and deadlines.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
- Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate a team to achieve results.
