The Senior Manager, MRC Launch Operations will have demonstrated expertise in managing Materials Review Committee (MRC) processes within the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries. This role will work closely across various functions within the US Region to manage MRC launch readiness activity and execution. The focus of this role will be ensuring promotional material management excellence through governance, coordination, and execution of launch-critical activities. The Senior Manager will report to and partner with the Director of MRC and Marketing Operations.
Lead MRC launch excellence governance by developing and managing comprehensive review timelines, conducting proactive risk assessments, and evaluating material impact to ensure launch-critical assets are reviewed, approved, and deployed on schedule
Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align on key milestones and mitigate potential delays or compliance risks. Serve as a central point of coordination to ensure launch-related MRC activities support overall launch excellence and operational readiness
Participate on cross-functional Launch Readiness SWAT teams to ensure alignment across launch-critical functions
Oversee tracking of material management launch milestones and stakeholder alignment to ensure timely and compliant delivery of assets and approvals
Lead materials management activity and support associated workstreams for label change planning and implementation
Partner with the Print & Fulfillment Operations Lead to manage PI (Prescribing Information) swap activity for updated promotional and medical print assets
Establish standardized and routine reporting dashboards defining performance and compliance metrics; leverage insights to drive continuous improvement
Assist Commercial and Medical colleagues by directing assigned agencies on asset development and timely deployment; troubleshoot technical issues as needed
Maintain launch-related MRC documentation including work instructions and operating guides
Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years direct experience in promotional and non-promotional material review processes and systems; preferably Veeva Vault PromoMats
Experience with Product Launch readiness and execution activity
Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment for pharmaceutical promotional material, pharmaceutical guidelines, and other compliance related issues
Ability to effectively network and partner with internal and external stakeholders and facilitate/promote cross-functional collaboration
Strong Project Management Skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to thrive as part of a team and when working independently
Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
