What's happening at Entrada Therapeutics? Entrada is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company aiming to transform the lives of patients by establishing a new class of medicines that engage intracellular targets that have long been considered inaccessible.
Our Endosomal Escape Vehicle (EEV™)-therapeutics are designed to enable the efficient intracellular delivery of a wide range of therapeutics into a variety of organs and tissues, resulting in an improved therapeutic index. Through this proprietary, versatile and modular approach, Entrada is advancing a robust development portfolio of RNA- and protein-based programs for the potential treatment of neuromuscular and ocular diseases, among others.
Our lead oligonucleotide programs are in development for the potential treatment of people living with Duchenne who are exon 44, 45, 50 and 51 skipping amenable. Entrada has partnered to develop a clinical-stage program, VX-670, for myotonic dystrophy type 1.

The Opportunity

With three distinct Duchenne programs moving into global clinical development by the end of 2025, another in 2026, and our expanding work in Ocular—these are exciting times for Entrada. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Patient Advocacy, you’ll help develop and implement advocacy programs and partnerships across our programs that enable us to learn from patient communities and shape our decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop advocacy landscape assessments that identify key stakeholders, trends, and opportunities for engagement.
- Monitor and inform team of key environmental and policy issues, community insights, and emerging trends affecting the patient communities we serve.
- Manage logistics and execution of key internal advocacy initiatives, including the development of an internal ambassador program for advocacy events, on-site speaker engagements, and employee volunteer opportunities.
- Manage the logistics and administration of Entrada’s DREAMS Grant program: a competitive annual grant program designed to fund efforts within the Duchenne muscular dystrophy community to better identify, understand and reach those who are currently underrepresented and underserved.
- Support the development of community-facing materials, including newsletters, handouts, and videos.
- Track and manage the patient advocacy budget, including the execution and fulfillment of grants and sponsorships.
- Represent Entrada at external events, such as patient advocacy meetings, advisory boards, industry meetings, and events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Corporate Communications, and others, to ensure continued incorporation of community insights into strategy and decision-making.

To thrive on our team, you will need to come with:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social science, public health, communications).
- 6+ years of experience in patient advocacy or a related field within the biopharmaceutical industry or non-profit sector.
- Proven ability to cultivate strong, trust-based, working relationships with internal and external community stakeholders to advance advocacy initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience implementing advocacy strategies throughout the drug development lifecycle.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and event planning skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and best practices governing patient advocacy engagement in the US, UK and EU.
- High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific and clinical information into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving company.
- Fluency in a second language (for example, Spanish) is preferred.
- Experience working with the Duchenne muscular dystrophy, neuromuscular and/or rare disease community is a plus.
- This is a long-term contract position and is US-based remote with preference given to local New England based candidates. This role may require monthly or quarterly travel to the Entrada Therapeutics Headquarters located in Boston, MA.
