About the Role

The Senior Program Coordinator, Student Academic Records in the Office of the University Registrar plays a critical role in assessing, modifying, and maintaining student records to preserve academic history and ensure accurate progress towards degree completion. Serving as a primary point of contact for colleagues within schools, colleges, and academic departments, the Senior Program Coordinator resolves issues related to personally identifiable information, program requirements, and academic outcomes. This role supports student registration, error resolution, leaves of absence processing, coding of special programs, degree verifications, and manages transcript production queues. As an active member of the academic record and operations team, the Senior Program Coordinator utilizes advanced training and experience to handle complex transactions, including the resolution of duplicate identification numbers and program plan changes.

This position works closely with colleagues in the Registrar’s office, the Enrollment & Student Administration unit, staff, and students. This role reports to the Associate Registrar.

  • Assessing and processing exceptions;

  • Adjusting student records;

  • Communicating University compliance requirements;

  • Researching and evaluating past data to complete transcript requests, and;

  • Maintaining course descriptions and audit records.

This role may cross-train into related organizational areas to provide support at peak times. The Senior Program Coordinator works relatively independently but may seek assistance for complex tasks. They are expected to set priorities in consultation with others and to maintain confidentiality of information.

Across the 10 departments of ENSA, we are dedicated to ensuring that our policies, practices, and services meet the needs of an increasingly inclusive University community of students, families, faculty, staff, and alumni. We do so through a lens of respect, and a commitment to encouraging the personal success and productivity of all employees.
